Applications in the prescribed format for Ph.D. admissions of October 2015 Session are invited from the candidates who are exempted from written test component.

The candidates applying for this course should have a master's degree in concerned or related subjects with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent grade. The candidates who are completing their final examinations by June 2015 are also eligible to apply.
For Ph.D. Electronics Science, candidates having GATE are also eligible to apply.

An interview would be conducted for the candidates for the admission. Awardees of JRF/ NBHM/ ICMR/ ICAR/ DBT / RGNF / MANF /DST INSPIRE are exempted from the written test only. They will have to appear for the interview.
Rs.350/- in the case of General and OBC candidates and Rs.150/- in the case of SC/ST/PWD(PH) candidates. Application fee should be in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at State Bank of India, HU Campus Branch (Code:5916) or at Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch (Hyderabad) (Code: 378).
The last date for submitting the application at CE’s office for the admission to Ph.D. programme for October 2015 Session is 15-09-2015. Candidates are advised to download the application form and submit the same for the vacant Ph.D. seats only.
